Meet Our Founder
Dr. Shabari Prabhudesai-Jog is a physiotherapist and has been practicing as a birth professional in Pune since 2010. She has worked as a physiotherapist in renowned hospitals in Pune before finally switching to birth profession. Her diverse and extensive experience made her realise the practical problems that a lot of women face during and after childbirth, which in turn led to ETERNAL BLISS as a centre for women’s health. With her childbirth education classes, she has made a positive difference in many expectant couple’s lives. Shabari, apart from being a Childbirth Educator is also a Certified Lactation Consultant from BPNI, Certified Doula from CAPPA & Certified Infant Massage Trainer. She feels deeply for women giving birth and wants to break the stereotypes around childbirth.
In her words “When I started with birth profession, not a lot of people knew about it. Now, things are changing and am glad that people are understanding its importance. Childbirth is one of the most important phases in a woman’s or rather a couple’s life and it’s important to understand and connect with your body before you enter that phase. Birth is beautiful and one of the best gifts which nature has given to women.

During my childbirth education classes, I came across many women who wanted to try Alternative medicine, Yoga, and other holistic therapies but they simply didn’t know whom to consult and they often found it difficult to shuffle among different professionals at different places. This is when I realised the need for an all-inclusive centre where one could avail all these services and choose what they deemed fit for themselves.
